We know what it means to be far from home, to build a life in borrowed towns, to raise children on new streets while the heart remains tethered to somewhere it has never quite left. We were a military family. Moving was our first language.

When we left Wisconsin and made our way back to Georgia, the outlook for his health was not good. The doctors weren't hopeful. But God had other plans, and so did the land, the fresh air, the clean food, the slower pace of life close to the earth. He is 72 years old today.

Banks Fresh Farms is that story made into something you can hold. Every seed is a vow renewed. Every harvest, a testament to what God and good soil can do for a family willing to come home to both.
